CBSE Class 10th Compartment Result 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10th compartment examination results for 2025 are eagerly awaited by students who appeared for the supplementary exams. These exams are designed to offer a second chance to students who couldn't clear one or two subjects in the regular board exams, preventing them from losing an entire academic year.
Compartment exams were held from July 15 to July 22, 2025. Results are expected in the first week of August 2025, though an official date is not yet announced. Information about re-evaluation or mark verification applications is anticipated around mid-August.
Results will be accessible on the official CBSE websites: results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. To check the results, students will need their Roll Number, School Number, Admit Card ID, Date of Birth, and a Security Pin. The results can be viewed by visiting one of the official websites, clicking the compartment result link, entering the required credentials, and submitting the information. Other methods to access results include DigiLocker, UMANG App, SMS, and IVRS. Original mark sheets will be available through the school.
A minimum of 33% in each subject (theory and practical) is needed to pass. The scorecard will contain personal details, subject-wise marks, total marks, grade, and result status. Students who pass will receive a marksheet that does not indicate "compartment".
Students who do not pass the compartment exam must repeat the academic year for that subject. CBSE does not offer a third attempt in the same year. Options include reappearing in the next academic year's board exams or considering open school alternatives.
After checking the online result, students should collect their original marksheet from the school. Those who pass can proceed with admissions for Class 11th. A migration certificate can be obtained from the school if transferring to another board or institution.
Students should regularly check the official CBSE website for result updates.
